Dr. Cole an Adjunct Professor and Director of Wound Care Research at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. A native of Youngstown, Ohio, Dr. Cole completed her undergraduate degree in biology at the University of Cincinnati, and her podiatry degree with honors from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. She then completed her surgical residency training at University Hospitals Health System in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Cole is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. She is an active member of the APMA, OPMA and AAWC.

Dr. Cole has been in practice in Northeastern Ohio for 17 years. Her interest is in limb salvage and wound care, and she currently serves as Director of Wound Care Services for Cleveland Regency Hospitals and is the Medical Director at University Hospitals Ahuja Wound Care Center. Dr. Cole has published on wound care modalities, and speaks nationally and internationally on limb preservation and wound care.
