About

As a fourth-year medical student with a background in Biology and specialization in Physiology, I have always been drawn to the intersection of science, movement, and healing. My passion for the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation stems from a desire to help patients regain function and independence through a more holistic, team-based approach. While medical school provided me with purpose in working with patients recovering from life-altering conditions, my foundation in physiology gives me a deep appreciation for how the body adapts and heals.

I am eager to immerse myself into this field that emphasizes on patient-centered interdisciplinary care where a comprehensive approach like incorporating medical management, procedural interventions, and rehabilitative therapies can empower patients to regain independence and redefine their abilities. I hope to further strengthen my skills in functional assessments and collaborative care while deepening my ability to provide comprehensive, evidence-based rehabilitative medicine during my final year of medical school.

I am actively exploring opportunities in this field, including shadowing, observerships, volunteering, and research, to further deepen my understanding and contribute meaningfully to the PM&R community. I am always open to connecting with others sharing passion for pain management as well as neurology and cardiac rehabilitation.
