About
I began research as an undergraduate in the laboratory of Hiroshi Matsuo at the University of Minnesota where I studied structural biology of host immunity proteins in HIV infection. After I graduated in 2011, I went on to research protein engineering and stem cell biology applied to heart disease in the laboratory of Tim Kamp at the University of Wisconsin as part of the Medical Scientist Training Program.
