Jeffrey P. Leake M.D. is in clinical practice as a Partner Physician at the Cenegenics Medical Institute in Las Vegas Nevada where he specializes in age management medicine. He also serves as Director of Physician Certification and Training for the Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation. He completed his undergraduate degree at the Ohio State University with a major in molecular genetics. He went on to do re-search in oxalate metabolism in the Department of Physiological Chemistry at OSU and taught biochemistry to first year medical students at the Ohio State University College of Medicine. He went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine at OSU and entered an anesthesiology residency at the Ohio State University Hospitals, becoming Chief Resident and later taking a faculty appointment as a Clinical Instructor in Anesthesiology at the Ohio State College of Medicine. After completing his board certification in anesthesiology, he spent 25 years as a practicing anesthesiologist at Harrison Medical Center in Washington, becoming the first Director of Surgical services there. His interest in exercise and fitness grew naturally from his athletic career at OSU, and he is certified by the International Sports Sciences Association as a personal trainer. His hobbies include extreme skiing, weight training and he is a Level 4 Practitioner of Krav Maga. He is an active member of the Endocrine Society, the American College of Sports Medicine, the National Strength and Conditioning Association, American Society of Nutrition, and the North American Menopause Society.
