My name is Dr. Frederick Strale, Jr. I am currently Assistant Director of Research at The Oxford Center in Brighton, MI. Before joining The Oxford Center, I was a Biostatistician at Henry Ford Health in Detroit, MI.

My background and qualifications include a Ph.D. (2000) in Educational Evaluation and Research from Wayne State University (WSU) in Detroit, MI. This Ph.D. program within WSU’s College of Education is a Doctoral specialization in Statistics & Quantitative Research Methods. My employment history includes many years of college-level teaching and statistical consulting. From 2001-2003, I was an adjunct professor at the University of Michigan-Dearborn teaching statistics and research methods in their graduate school. I was nominated by Dean John Poster for a Distinguished Teaching Award.

My consultative collaborations have ranged from directing Ph.D. students in their Methods and Data Analysis Dissertation chapters, to working with medical students on research projects, to Fortune 500 corporations, businesses, and non-profits on quantitative program evaluation and statistical/biostatistical projects.

From 2006-2008, I was a dually appointed Assistant Professor in the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI. I also taught Basic and Clinical Biostatistics to 3rd and 5th year medical residents.

From 2004 to 2006, and from 2008 to 2021, I had a successful teaching career at Indian River State College (IRSC) in Ft. Pierce, FL teaching basic statistics in the mathematics department. In addition to my duties at IRSC, for brief periods between 2014 thru 2016, I taught advanced statistics to Ph.D. students online as an adjunct professor at Trident University in Cypress, CA.
