About

I graduated from the University of Utah School of Medicine in 1992. I spent 8 years at Johns Hopkins Hospital, in Baltimore, Maryland doing a general surgery residency, research fellowship and clinical fellowship in gastrointestinal and pancreatic surgery. In 2000, I joined the faculty of the University of Maryland as a Gastrointestinal Surgeon, serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery. From 2002-5, I served as Associate Program Director of the Residency. In July 2006, I moved to my home town of Ogden, Utah where I work as a general and gastrointestinal surgeon at Northern Utah Surgeons, McKay-Dee Hospital, part of the Intermountain Medical Group as well as Ogden Regional Medical Center. I also precept PA and medical students.
