I am working as Professor and Head Department of Community Medicine/Preventive Medicine, Government Medical College, Ernakulam. I have more than 23 years of experience in medical education. My areas of interest are Non communicable disease epidemiology and prevention and infectious disease epidemiology. I have published more than 30 articles in various medical Journals. I am a member of the state resource group on Communicable diseases and a member of the board of studies, which makes the curriculum in Kerala University of Health Sciences. I'm also currently in charge of institutional research Committee and State board of medical research in Kerala both which intends to improve research in Kerala.
