In 2004, she formed a group for her patients and their families called “Laidley’s Ladies and Gentlemen”.  The group provides patients access to each other so that no one walks their breast cancer journey alone.  The group is now formalized as a charitable organization, Laidley’s Ladies Foundation, the Mission of which is to assist underfunded families access to excellent breast cancer care and to promote survivorship care and awareness. The Laidley’s Ladies Foundation is part of Texas Oncology Foundation, Inc. established in 1997 and dedicated to providing support to cancer patients in the communities where they live, work and receive treatment.
