Dr. Schold’s primary research interests and teaching focus are in health services research, predictive modeling, quality assessment of healthcare providers and access to care. His focus has been in outcomes research in the fields of transplantation and nephrology and work with large observational data sets. Dr. Schold has been a principal and co-investigator on numerous grants including those sponsored by the National Institutes of Health, the PhRMA Foundation, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, industry and the Health Services and Resource Administration.
