Dr. Faisal Riaz Jahangiri is currently working as a President & CEO at Global Innervation LLC in Dallas, Texas. He is also faculty at AINeurocare Academy, Dallas, TX. Dr. Jahangiri is also teaching at The University of Texas at Richardson, Texas as well as Laboure College of Healthcare in Milton, MA. After completing his medical school and residencies in general surgery and radiology, he completed his graduate studies in the field of Biomedical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) in Cleveland. Over the past decade, Dr. Jahangiri has worked as a senior clinical neurophysiologist with some of the premier intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) companies in the United States and internationally as a supervising reading physician. He has performed and supervised more than 9000 surgical procedures in more than 300 hospitals across more than 25 states in the USA and Asia. He is an experienced surgical neurophysiologist with expertise in intraoperative monitoring and interventional procedures, ICU, and epilepsy monitoring units (EMU).
After Dr. Jahangiri earned his D.ABNM, he was awarded fellowship of ASNM in 2013. He has multiple publications including a reference book and a Q &A flashcard series for IONM. He is routinely invited as a guest speaker at various national and international meetings. He is actively involved with multiple national and international societies.
Dr. Jahangiri is ASNM board member and also chair of the ASNM membership committee. He is also a reviewer for four peer-reviewed US and European journals. Dr. Jahangiri is actively involved in philanthropic efforts for intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring in various underdeveloped countries and recently was the chair for IONM workshops in USA, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan.
