A Psychologist, Social and Behavioural Scientist by training, currently working as Faculty with the Indian Institute of Public Health, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India.
His career objective is to bridge the gap between theory, research and practice using psychological and behavioural sciences for promoting access to public health services for a vulnerable population and improving the public mental health system.

As an emerging young scholar and behavioural scientist, he examines psycho-socio-cultural factors that influence (mental) health of the most at-risk population, health technology for promoting health-seeking behaviours, screening, and treatment adherence. In summary, his work is about helping people lead healthy lives within their socio-cultural context, and improve public health service delivery to reduce health disparities and inequities.
