I trained in the practice of Anesthesiology at Yale University and went on to acquire expertise in Acute Interventional Pain management at UPMC Pittsburg, PA. After achieving my training at UPMC, I returned to Yale, where I was recruited to design, develop and implement both clinical and educational components of Yale’s Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Program. I successfully launched an Interventional Pain Management Program at Yale and also introduced a pain management plan for rib fracture patients in the trauma intensive care unit utilizing Paravertebral nerve block catheters.I served as the Director and Fellowship Director of Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain . Thereafter, I was given yet another opportunity to establish another Acute Pain program for the Musculoskeletal Center at Yale.
In 2016, I joined the Anesthesiology Department at University of Florida to further my academic career. I continue my effort towards academic regional anesthesia at UF.I have taught and directed workshops in Regional anesthesia and Pain medicine locally and nationally serving as a panelist, moderator & speaker at various meetings. I have book chapters and published articles in various peer-reviewed journal.
