Shaheen Kaplan, PharmD, MBA, MEd, is a third-year medical student at Avalon University School of Medicine. Before pursuing her medical degree, she held senior leadership positions in the pharmaceutical industry, including serving as a Global Sr. Vice President of Medical Affairs, where she contributed to the development and launch of innovative therapies. Her research interests include neuropsychiatry, evidence-based medicine, medical education, and the translation of complex clinical observations into meaningful scholarship. She is passionate about combining her experience in pharmacy, medical affairs, education, and clinical medicine to improve patient care and advance interdisciplinary learning.
