Taylor Sawyer, DO, MEd, CHSE-A, FAAP is a Neonatologist at the University of Washington Medical Center and Seattle Children's Hospital. He is the Director of Medical Simulation at Seattle Children’s Hospital, Director of the Neonatal Education and Simulation-based Training (NEST) Program at the University of Washington, Founder and Chair of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Section on Simulation and Innovative Learning Methods, and a member of the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Steering Committee. His academic interests focus on the use of simulation to improve neonatal resuscitation performance and procedural competency. He is an active simulation educator and researcher, and he has received Advanced Certification as a Healthcare Simulation Educator from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare.
