Dr. Eduardo Ciarrochi is a distinguished Argentine physician with a career spanning over four decades. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) in 1977 and subsequently completed his training in General Surgery at the Municipal Surgical School for Graduates "Enrique and Ricardo Finochietto" at Hospital Rawson, Buenos Aires. In 1986, he was awarded the title of Licentiate in Medicine and Surgery by the Ministry of Education and Science in Madrid, Spain.
Dr. Ciarrochi is a certified specialist in Plastic, Aesthetic, and Reconstructive Surgery, is recognized nationally as an Honorary Member of the Argentine Medical Association. He has played a significant role in public health policy, authoring Argentina's national Anti-Doping Law.
Over the past 22 years, Dr. Ciarrochi has become a leading expert in Regenerative Medicine, focusing on stem cell and exosome-based therapies. His private medical practice in Buenos Aires specializes in microsurgery and advanced regenerative approaches for complex conditions.
His extensive professional experience includes positions at renowned institutions: physician at Hospital Rawson (1977–1979), team member of the Argentine Football Association (AFA, 1979–1985), staff at the Plastic Surgery Service of Hospital Bernardino Rivadavia (1980–1985), and Head of the Microsurgery Department at Hospital Rivadavia (1982–1985). He has also served as a consultant in hand surgery, plastic surgery, and microsurgery at Hospital Aeronáutico and was a member of the reimplantation team at Hospital Francés.
Internationally, Dr. Ciarrochi trained and practiced in Spain, where he was a resident at Dr. Jaime Planas' Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery Clinic in Barcelona, and later served as a plastic surgeon and microsurgeon in Marbella at the International Medical Center and the German Clinic.
Dr. Ciarrochi's scientific contributions have earned numerous national and international awards. His pioneering work in vascular and nerve microsurgery, lymphatic microsurgery, and the clinical application of superficial fascia in reconstructive procedures has been recognized by institutions such as the Argentine Medical Association, the National Academy of Medicine in Buenos Aires, and international symposia on lymphoedema and reconstructive surgery.
He has been included in several prestigious biographical directories, including "Who's Who in the World" (Marquis, USA), the "Dictionary of International Biography" (Cambridge, UK), and the "Book of Argentine Medical Personalities" published by Ghello y Asociados with the support of the Argentine Medical Association.
