Currently serving as the Principal Biomedical Scientist at the Cocoa Clinic (Ghana Cocoa Board), he specializes in the strategic integration of laboratory medicine and clinical data science to strengthen infectious disease surveillance and national health systems.

His research focuses on leveraging advanced machine learning, including XGBoost, Random Forest, and SHAP, alongside geospatial analysis (LISA, QGIS) to identify health inequities and forecast infectious disease trends in Sub-Saharan Africa. He holds an M.Sc. in Data Science and an M.Sc. in Public Health, both awarded with Distinction, and is currently advancing his interdisciplinary foundation by pursuing an LL.M. in International Law at Liverpool John Moores University.

A dual-licensed professional with the Allied Health Professions Council (Ghana) and CORU (Ireland), Valentine is an active member of the Academy of Clinical Science and Laboratory Medicine (ACSLM) and the Ghana Association of Biomedical Laboratory Scientists (GABMLS). As a published researcher and peer reviewer, his work is dedicated to translating high-throughput diagnostic data into actionable, evidence-based models for global health equity and informed policy design.
