Is Euthansia a Moral Right?
Abstract
This paper discusses euthanasia and the lukewarm responses to its possible legalization. Different types of euthanasia and procedures of carrying it out are discussed in the paper. Restricted circumstances in which euthanasia is allowed are also clearly mentioned in the paper that follows. The study that follows talks about the view-points of different religions on the topic of whether or not to legalize euthanasia. The opinions of people from several interviews and surveys are considered, some of which are against and some support euthanasia; few are not sure whether or not to support it as they are unaware of its consequences. Overall, six articles were used in the research of this paper and citations were used to provide evidence. Further research needs to be carried out to know why or why not the legalization of euthanasia would mater in a secular country. The need to interview the individuals of those countries where euthanasia is not legalized still persists; however, the public generally supports euthanasia to forego pain despite religious restrictions.
