Impact of Unconcealed Traffic Camera's on the Prevalence of Accident-Related CNS Injuries in the City of Riyadh

Abstract

Implementation of strict traffic regulations have been of much debate for countries like Saudi Arabia where figures of injuries resulting from motor vehicle accidents have soared to alarming levels. The recent introduction of the Saudi-based Electronic Saher system raises numerous potential research opportunities. One of which is to explore the impact of exposed traffic-regulatory interventions on the medical aspects of the local Riyadh community. In this research, we intend to compare statistical data relating to CNS injuries in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, before and after the implementation of this system, and to identify its health effects on the Riyadh community.
