Abstract
The national and international increase in CD without improvement of morbidity and mortality is a global health concern. A large body of research is focused on optimizing indications of the primary CD. Adequate Training in operative vaginal deliveries, external cephalic version, and fetal head rotation. Residency programs lack such training. Each physician involved in obstetric care should follow the clinical updates to improve maternal outcomes. The key to this is patience and allowing nature to progress on its own timeline.
