Clinical Outcomes, Complications, and Deformity Correction in Lateral Transpoas Interbody Fusion


Abstract

Lateral transpsoas interbody fusion (LTIF) has been an accepted form of treatment for various spinal conditions including trauma, degenerative disc disease, deformity, and spondylolisthesis. Several clinical studies have been conducted; however, they have been limited by small sample sizes. In our study, we aimed to conduct a larger retrospective chart review to support or not support the continued use of this technique.
