About

Linda Xu is a sixth year resident in the Stanford University neurosurgical residency.  She attended University of Maryland for both undergraduate and medical school where she graduated summa cum laude and won high honors for her research thesis on modulation of AMPA receptors.  She completed an enfolded Neuro-Oncology fellowship and Cyberknife fellowship, and served as a CSNS socioeconomic fellow.  She is currently continuing to develop the first international research and surgical collaboration between Stanford and the national neurosurgery program in Kampala, Uganda and writing the protocol for Stanford's first neurosurgery investigator initiated clinical trial for GBM.  Upon graduating in 2018, she aims to continue to focus on tumor, clinical trials, and international health.
