Dr. Meyer graduated from Washington State University in 2006 with his B.Sc. in Bioengineering and went on to graduate with his M.D. from the Pennsylvania State University in 2010. After finishing his Internal Medicine residency at the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate in Brooklyn, New York he trained in Diagnostic Radiology with fellowship subspecialization in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Dr. Meyer received the AMA Foundation ‘Excellence in Medicine’ Leadership Award in 2008 for fostering inter-professional collaboration among physicians, veterinarians and the public health community. He is a passionate advocate for the development of teamwork and inspired leadership in medicine. Certified in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, he helps colleagues realize their unique strengths and areas for growth. In addition to physician leadership development, Dr. Meyer served on the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) Board of Directors. He is the Founder and President of EQIP Inc. a healthcare IT company focused on education and quality improvement. Dr. Meyer is currently on faculty at UF Health Jacksonville in the Department of Radiology as an Interventional Radiologist.
