I am a stereotactic and functional neurosurgeon since 1992. Additionally, I am PhD in neuroscience since 2000. My main research interest is psychiatric neurosurgery, movement disorders, refractory epilepsy, neuropathic pain, spasticity, animal models and neuroethics. I have studied and treated patients with obsessive compulsive disorders, neuroagressive disorder, major depression disorder, Parkinson's disease, refractory epilepsy, chronic pain, spasticity and general neurosurgery. I have expertise in lesioning surgery, deep brain stimulation, spinal cord stimulation, intrathecal perfusion pumps and transcranial magnetic stimulation.
