I earned my Masters in Clinical Counseling I worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Substance use Counselor at Rogers Behavioral Health. I had an opportunity to assist patients in developing the treatment plans and address targeted behaviors, provide risk assessment, diagnosis and case management. I worked collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team at higher level of care i.e., Partial Hospitalization Program and Intensive Outpatient Program. I achieved the highest patient satisfaction record in providing quality treatment and discharge planning.

I received training for evidence based treatment modalities such as CBT Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Care and Addiction Treatment.

As a Behavioral Department Chair in a Community Health Center in Milwaukee, I strongly believe in collaborative approach and holistic care. I value being a frontline Mental Health Clinician and provide assistance to uninsured, refugees and underserved population in south-eastern Wisconsin.

Throughout my experience, I have learned that WI is an underserved area with a growing number of mental health cases and lack of providers to meet the clinical needs of the community.

My goal is to serve the community by discovering etiology, prevention and cure and provide evidenced based treatment with an integrated approach. Behavioral Health Model can improve wellness, health and reduce the healthcare cost. I believe I am a strong candidate for the Doctoral program in the Behavioral Health Clinical route as I have in-depth knowledge about the clinical as well as behavioral treatment modalities.
