Dr. Shimaa Mahmoud Ahmed Ameen, an Egyptian dentist, holds a Ph.D. in Operative Dentistry from Al-Azhar University (2016). She also earned her M.Sc. in Restorative Dentistry (2010) and a B.Sc. in Dental Medicine with honors (2004) from the same institution. With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Shimaa has worked as a GP and restorative dentist in private clinics and hospitals, including Egypt Air Hospital. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Operative Dentistry at Al-Azhar University, where she teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students, supervises clinical work, and manages outpatient sessions. Dr. Shimaa is an active contributor to dental research, with publications in international journals and a co-edited dental textbook. She has presented her work at major conferences such as AEEDC Dubai and the Egyptian Dental Syndicate Congress. Fluent in Arabic and English, Dr. Shimaa is licensed as a GP Dentist in Abu Dhabi . Her professional journey reflects her commitment to excellence in clinical practice, teaching, and research. She has a strong academic and research background, coupled with professional editorial and peer- review experience .
