About

I am a mobility student of the Single-Cycle Master’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Padua (Italy) and an intern medical student at the University of Passo Fundo (UPF), Brazil, actively engaged in research and leadership roles. My goal is to specialize in neurology, with a focus on translational neuroscience and genomics applied to neurodegenerative diseases. I am seeking opportunities for international career advancement and research engagement.

In high school, I received a scientific initiation scholarship to work in Barcellos, L. J. G.'s Lab, using zebrafish (Danio rerio) as an animal model. At UPF, I am volunteering at a research group contributing to the project 'Management and Promotion of Medical Knowledge Through the Development of Serious Games Applied to Medical Education and Gerontological Technology.' Additionally, I have tutored courses in Histology I, Endocrine-Metabolic I, and Research Seminar II.

My current research focuses on designing and conducting systematic reviews and meta-analyses using tools like Review Manager, and R, along with biostatistical studies. As a Cochrane member, I contribute to systematic reviews of healthcare interventions. I have served on the Capstone Review Board of the Certificate in Physician Leadership from the American College of Physicians and am an Ad hoc Reviewer for the Brazilian Medical Students Journal, maintained by the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations (IFMSA).
