I am a Senior Lecturer of Orthopaedic and Sports Physiotherapy at the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria. I was the Acting Head of Department of Physiotherapy, Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences, University of Calabar. I hold a Ph.D in Orthopaedic and Sports Physiotherapy from the Department of Physiotherapy, School of Postgraduate Studies, University of Lagos. My research interest is centered on evaluating effects of physical medicine on endogenous substances for pain relief. My PhD thesis is Efficacy of lumbar stabilisation and graded activity exercises on biochemical mediators of pain in patients with non-specific chronic low back pain.
