Dr. Dilcher is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the West Virginia University School of Medicine. He practices as an attending physician in the Emergency Departments at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital (WVU Medicine's tertiary care flagship institution) as well as other WVU Medicine community and rural hospitals. He is the director of clinical informatics for the Department of Emergency Medicine and a Certified Epic Physician Builder for the WVU Medicine Health System. Research interests include systems based decision support to improve patient outcomes and provider satisfaction, rural emergency medicine, medical education, mental imagery.
