I have been a practitioner and teacher of osteopathic medicine, principles and practice for 48 years. I have taught all levels of osteopathic principles and practice nationally and internationally, to students, residents and practicing physicians. I have a number of both peer-reviewed and non-peer reviewed publications, have written several books, and have made major contributions to Foundations for Osteopathic Medicine, all four editions, both as an author and as a section editor. I have been a peer reviewer for several journals for approximately 20 years. I am a Fellow in the American Academy of Osteopathy and a recipient of the Distinguished Fellow Award, Northup Award and Scott Memorial Award.
