Born in Piacenza (Italy) in 22-01-1953, graduated at the University of Pavia (Italy) in 1978, summa cum laude, and subsequently specialised in Haematology, (1981), Internal Medicine (1986), Medical Oncology (1989), and gastroenterology (1993) at the University of Pavia. Appointed Director of Department of Oncology and Hematology Hospital of Piacenza. Member of several scientific association, among which the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the European Society Medical Oncology (ESMO). Author of 264scientific international publications and of 8 scientific books.
