Dr Nishant is working as an Assistant Professor at the Oral Health Sciences Centre, PGIMER, Chandigarh, India. He is a Gold Medalist, Master of Dental Surgery and has been instrumental in extending Oral healthcare outreach to rural and remote areas of the country. He is a trained Epidemiologist and Biostatistician and has been associated with 7 extramural funded research projects. He has been bestowed with international and national awards and has many publications to his credit. He has conducted Tobacco Cessation programs for medical and dental professionals in collaboration with the state National Tobacco Control Program.
