About
During my stint in business school, I fell in love with process improvement and how it applies to medicine. This grew into a love for research. My research at that time was focused on experiencial learning and its affects on group culture and long-term life outcomes. I switched careers in 2016, deciding to go back to school to be a physician and began working as a research volunteer at the Moran Eye Center in Salt Lake City, and as a clinical research coordinator and lab technician for a local clinic in my hometown. I published with that lab on work we did on biocompatible lenses in rabbit models, which began a fascination for both clinical and original research projects.
