Atman Desai, MD, MA, FAANS is Associate Professor and Director of Neurosurgical Spinal Oncology at Stanford University Medical Center. Dr. Desai received his medical degree from the University of Cambridge. He completed his residency in Neurological Surgery at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and a fellowship in Spinal Oncology and Complex Spinal Reconstruction at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He focuses on the surgical treatment of spinal tumors, spinal degenerative disease and spinal deformity, and has particular interest in computer-assisted and minimally invasive surgical approaches.
