About

I am currently a PhD researcher at University of Lahore, Lahore, Pakistan. The major of my PhD is microbiology, with minor in Virology with a research on “Molecular characterization of Human Papillomavirus from Cervical Secretions in Local Female Population, Lahore”
After graduating in Dec, 2005, I spent a year enhancing my clinical dentistry skill interests at Punjab Dental Hospital, Lahore. While practising dentistry, I extensively did my research through gathering information from postgraduates, regarding postgraduate study opportunities and benefits at different universities of Lahore. All of them showed great enthusiasm and highlighted that how their experience at different universities of Lahore had enriched their skills and interests in research.
Inspired and motivated, I spent my next three years at University of Health Sciences doing M-Phil under the direction of Dr. A.H.Nagi, researching on “Cytological changes in Oral squamous Cell Carcinoma Patients receiving Concomitant Chemo-radiotherapy” in order to analyze and see the effects of CCRT in OSCC patients in both normal and peritumoral mucosal area. Through the M-Phil program and research, I developed increasing passion and dedication to expand my knowledge and abilities in the field of oncology research but specifically in virology and cancer biology to serve the humanity.
