Ahmad Al-Bashaireh received his Ph.D. from the University of Florida in 2018. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree in 1998 and Master of Science in Medical Laboratory Sciences/ Clinical Biochemistry in 2001 from Jordan University of Science and Technology. He has 20 years of diverse experience in academic and clinical fields. In the clinical field, he worked for 3 years as Registered Nurse in Adult and Pediatric Critical Care Units, 3 years as Clinical Instructor for Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and 4 years as Nurse Educator in Children's Hospitals. Furthermore, Ahmad also has 3 years of experience as a Quality Improvement Coordinator and Manager for the Nursing Education Department. In addition to his clinical experience, Ahmad has 7 years of experience as a Research and Teaching Assistant in Faculty of Medicine and Applied Sciences in Jordan University of Science and Technology and in College of Nursing at the University of Florida. His motivation, leadership, and blended experience in the clinical, laboratory, and academic settings contribute to his ability to add to the field of tobacco research.
