Scholarly Impact Quotient™ (SIQ™) judges article importance by embracing the collective intelligence of the Cureus community-at-large. All registered users are invited to contribute to the SIQ™ of any published article. (Authors are not permitted to rate their own articles.)
While all registered Cureus users can rate a published article, the SIQ™ algorithm weighs the opinion of domain experts appreciably more than that of non-specialists. Each article’s SIQ™ is prominently displayed alongside the article title once the article has received a minimum of two ratings. SIQ™ is recalculated with each additional rating.
