Dr. Emma Patterson is the CEO of Oregon Weight Loss Surgery, and Medical Director of the Legacy Good Samaritan Weight Management Institute. She has performed over 3,000 bariatric surgeries since completing her fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. Dr Patterson serves on the Executive Council of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, and has published over 100 journal articles, abstracts and book chapters. She trains surgerons nationally and internationally on bariatric procedures, and regularly speaks at conferences. Strongly committed to ongoing research, she serves as the principle investigator on various studies of investigational devices.
