Eric L. Chang, MD, is a Professor and Chair of Radiation Oncology at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. Dr. Chang attended Harvard Medical School where he obtained his Doctorate in Medicine. He completed his post-graduate training at the Harvard Joint Center for Radiation Therapy in Boston. Dr. Chang was on the faculty at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center for 12 years, where he rose to the rank of academic Professor and established the first Gamma Knife radiosurgery program. He was also the Director of the CNS Stereotactic Radiation Program and served as Chair of the Clinical Research Committee. He served as CNS track leader for the American Society of Clinical Oncology Scientific Program Committee, and is currently the co-leader for the American Society for Radiation Oncology brain metastasis guidelines development task force, in addition to many other leadership roles. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology and has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles.
