Dr. Matthew J. Maurice is a clinical fellow in Urology at Cleveland Clinic, specializing in Advanced Robotics & Laparoscopy. He was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Saint Louis University in 2005 and his medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in 2009. He completed his internship in General Surgery and residency in Urology at University Hospitals Case Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, in Cleveland, Ohio. In his fledgling career, he has presented at many national meetings, authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, and written several book chapters. He anticipates completing fellowship in 2017, at which time, he plans to pursue an academic career in Urology. His interests include: oncology, minimally-invasive and robotic surgery, reconstruction, and surgical innovation.
